Pink Moscato
Canada
Pink, sweet and lightly fizzy, this sparkling Moscato received a 90 point rating from Wine Business Monthly. Potently aromatic with scents of honey, peach/apricot and orange blossoms, this sparkler features tasty notes of sweet red currant, strawberries, honeyed ginger and Turkish delight.

"Sweetly irresistible to 99% of humans, Moscato is the wine world's latest hot ticket. Unless you're wearing a super-snob cape, what's not to like? This pink bubbly Aussies swings deftly between cotton candy and a bowl of fresh strawberries. What it lacks in acid, it makes up for with spritz, so it’s still refreshing, and has quite the long finish. At 8% alcohol, it’s for drinking, not “tasting,” and likely to be the first wine gone at a brunch."

"Fun in Pink! The sudden popularity of Moscato wines (still and bubbly) has been duly noted. The Emeri offers aromas of white raisins, apricots, candied citrus peel and musky honey notes. The palate is sweet and light moussey with similar honey, apricot and citrus peel flavours. Low alcohol and visually mouth-watering."

Sauvignon Blanc
USA
"...here in the good ol' USA we make a ton of bubbly. From California to New Mexico to Virginia to Massachusetts, there are American Sparkling Wines from sea to shining sea. So what do you call a sparkling wine from Australia? Delicious that's what! While not exactly known for making bubbly (or even Sauvignon Blanc for that matter), the Aussie's are the new kids at the party but they're doing a bang up job. The NV Emeri Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc from De Bortoli Wines in New South Wales is bottled refreshment. This is a wine for sipping on the hottest of summer days. It's super light-weight so you can knock back a couple glasses of crisp sparkling that has slight grassy and herbal flavors. The bubbles make it fun and will class up your afternoon of stoop sitting, lazy river inner-tubing, or hot, muggy day picnic-ing. Drink liberally with a cheese plate, fresh strawberries or a big hunk of fresh bread."

"This is quite subdued on the nose but has a lively, fruity palate and a refreshingly clean finish."

Pinot Grigio
USA
"If you like a wine that is a bit more medium-dry than completely dry, with floral aromas or ripe fruit flavors there is an Australian sparkler that may be perfect for you. Emeri Sparkling Pinot Grigio from De Bortoli Wine. I was a bit unsure of this wine, sparkling Pinot Grigio from Australia? But I learned that the winery had solid Italian roots, established by Northern Italian emigrants to Australia, Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli in 1928. Their son Deen expanded the operation when he took over and married Emeri. Their children are involved in every aspect of the winery today, with family as the key to their success. The sparkler is a great afternoon by the pool wine as it has low alcohol, about 10.5%, with lychee fruit, honey blossom and blooming rose aromas."

"Light and sweet, with pretty pear, floral and spice aromas and flavors, lingering delicately. Drink now."

Sparkling Shiraz
86 Points
The base wine is fermented in tank and aged in used American oak barrels or in tank with oak staves before the second fermentation in tank before filtration and bottling under pressure - the charmat method. It has been excactly fashioned for its market; indeed, it's almost too good - light red fruits and the sweetness obvious but appropriately weighted. Buy it today, and drink it tonight.

Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir
"Best mousse; the best of the three Emeri Sparklings, which should come as no suprise; good balance to the stone fruit and citrus flavours; clean, dry finish."
James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2011, August 2010
